Profiling
Profiling is any form of automated processing of personal data consisting of
the use of such personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating
to a natural person, in particular to analyze or predict aspects concerning
that natural person’s work performance, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests,
reliability, behavior, location, or movements.

6. Pseudonymization
Pseudonymization is the processing of personal data in such a way that the
personal data can no longer be attributed to a
specific data subject without the use of additional information, provided that such additional information
is kept separately and is subject to technical and organizational measures that
ensure that the personal data is not attributed to an identified or identifiable
natural person.

7. Processor
A processor is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other
entity that processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

8. Third Party
A third party is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body other than the
data subject, the controller, the processor, and the persons who, under the
direct authority of the controller or the processor, are authorized to process the
personal data.

10. Consent
Consent is any freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the data subject’s
wills, expressed by a statement or by a
clear affirmative action, by which the data subject indicates that
they consent to the processing of their personal data.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis for our company’s
processing operations in which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose.
If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you
are a party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations necessary for the
delivery of goods or the provision of other services or consideration,
the processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. The same applies to such
processing operations that are necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, such as in
cases of inquiries regarding our products or services.
If our company is subject to a legal obligation that requires the processing of
personal data, such as to fulfill tax obligations,
the processing is based on Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.
Finally, processing operations may be based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. This
legal basis applies to processing operations that are not covered by any of the aforementioned legal bases
if the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our
company or a third party, provided that the interests, fundamental rights, and
fundamental freedoms of the data subject do not take precedence. Such processing operations are permitted to us
in particular because they have been specifically mentioned by the European legislator.
In this regard, the legislator took the view that a legitimate interest could be assumed
if you are a customer of our company (Recital 47, Sentence 2 of the GDPR).

6. Transfer of Data to Third Parties

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.
We will only disclose your personal data to third parties if:
1. You have given your explicit consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR,
2. the disclosure is permissible pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests
and there is no reason to believe that you have an overriding legitimate
in the non-disclosure of your data,
3. in the event that there is a legal
, and
4. this is legally permissible and, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, necessary for the performance of
contractual relationships with you.

7. You can recognize an encrypted
connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar displays “https://” instead of “http://”
and by the lock icon in your browser’s address bar.
We use this technology to protect the data you transmit.

7.2 Data Collection When Visiting the Website
When you use our website solely for informational purposes—that is, if you do not register or
otherwise provide us with information—we collect only the data that your browser transmits to our
server (in so-called “server log files”). These are small files that your
browser automatically creates and that are stored on your IT system (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.)
when you visit our site.
The cookie stores information related to the specific
device being used. However, this does not mean that we thereby gain direct knowledge of
your identity.
The use of cookies serves, on the one hand, to make the use of our website more convenient for you.
For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages
of our website. These are automatically deleted when you leave our site.
In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness,
which are stored on your device for a specific, predetermined period of time. If you
visit our site again to use our services, the system automatically recognizes that
you have already visited us and which entries and settings you have made, so that you do not
have to enter them again.
We also use cookies to collect statistical data on the use of our website and to
evaluate this data for the purpose of optimizing our offerings for you. These cookies enable us to
automatically recognize that you have
visited our site again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a predefined period of time.

8.2 Legal Basis for the Use of Cookies
The data processed by cookies that is necessary for the proper functioning of the website
is therefore required to safeguard our legitimate interests and those of third parties pursuant to Art. 6(1)
sentence 1(f) of the GDPR.
For all other cookies, you have given your consent via our opt-in cookie banner
in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

Cookie Settings

9. The information
is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity,
and to provide other services related to website and internet usage
for the purposes of market research and the needs-based design of these
web pages. This information may also be transferred to third parties,
provided this is required by law or to the extent that third parties process this data on our behalf. Under
no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other data held by Google.
The IP addresses are anonymized so that they cannot be traced back to an individual (IP masking).
You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser settings
; however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all features of this website to their full extent.
These processing operations take place exclusively upon the granting of express consent
pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the
website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google
by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).
As an alternative to the browser add-on, particularly for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent
collection by Google Analytics by clicking the following link:

Disable Google Analytics. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent future collection of your
data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie applies only to this browser and only
to our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser,
you must set the opt-out cookie again.
For more information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics, please refer to
the Google Analytics Help Center (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de).

You use Google Analytics and are required to implement an opt-out feature for your users.
For more information, please visit
https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/gajs/?hl=de#disable

10. Plugins and Other Services

10.1 Google Maps
On our website, we use Google Maps (API) from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House,
Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive
(map) maps to visually present geographic information. By using this
service, for example, our location can be displayed to you and any journey to our location can be made easier.
As soon as you access the subpages on which the Google Maps map is embedded,
information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to servers
operated by Google in the United States and stored there. This occurs regardless of whether Google
provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are
logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish for this association
with your Google profile, you must log out of your Google user account.
Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and
analyzes them. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, in which case
you must contact Google to exercise this right.

Google Ireland Limited, based in Ireland, is certified under the U.S.-EU Privacy Shield framework,
which ensures compliance with the data protection standards applicable in the EU.
If you do not consent to the future transfer of your data to Google in connection with your use of Google
Maps, you also have the option to completely disable the Google Maps web service
by turning off JavaScript in your browser.
Google Maps and, consequently, the map display on this website will then no longer be available
for use.
These processing operations take place exclusively upon the granting of explicit consent
in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
You can view Google’s Terms of Service at
https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html; the additional
Terms of Service for Google Maps can be found at
https://www.google.com/intl/de_US/help/terms_maps.html
Detailed information on data protection in connection with the use of Google
Maps can be found on Google’s website (“Google Privacy Policy”):
https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/
Consent must be obtained when using Google Maps.
A common solution that has only a minimal impact on the user experience is one
in which users request the Google Maps section of
your website with an additional click.

10.2 Google Tag Manager
This website uses Google Tag Manager, a cookie-free service that does not
collect any personal data.
This tool allows “website tags” (i.e., keywords embedded in HTML elements)
to be implemented and managed via a user interface. By using
Google Tag Manager, we can automatically track which button, link, or
personalized image you have actively clicked on and can then determine which content
on our website is of particular interest to you.
The tool also triggers other tags, which may in turn collect data.
Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If you have disabled tracking at the domain or cookie level,
this setting remains in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag
Manager.
These processing operations take place exclusively upon the granting of explicit consent
in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
You use Google Tag Manager and must implement an opt-out function for your users.

10.3 Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts, provided by
Google, to ensure consistent font display.
